will brake servo affect handbrake?

i always think on 206 the handbrake are mechanic tyre(by wire)

so even though your brake pipe burst you sthould still be able to pull the handbrake and stop the car?

or am i totally wrong?? Question

i would of thought the same! other wise the back wheels would stop suddenly all the time!

yeah the 206 uses a cable to operate the handbrake Razz

you are coorect, I thought every car has to have a mechanical handbrake? my 205 has a hydralic one but it is also attached via cables in case of a failure.

great, so basically my fd is wrong then?

at first when he pull the nadbrake one of the rear wheel won't lock up, and the garage fix it by change the servo lol

ah it won't have been the servo more than likely the slave cylinder cause if one of those has burst that side break is innefective
