glove box light

has anyone done a how to as i have the light and the switch but i dont know how to fit them, as my car hasnt got the same cable for light as what the car i took it out of

Retro fit it - tap into the cig lighter wires and put an inline fuse in the wire just to be safe, thats what I did Smile

anyone know how i got the glovebox light to come on when i open glovebox as i have the switch but in dont have the the cable to plug the light in :S any one done it before and know how to do it?

to be honest i think a plunger switch would work. i.e putting the switch somewhere when the glovebox is closed it presses the plunger down therfore stopping the current and turning it off? are you going traX?

nah i cant mate it got a faimly party...... Sad i have the standard switch for it out of another can jusrt need to know what wires to run the light switch off ill see if i can get a pic up tonight.
