Author: Teebag, Location: exhall, bedworth, coventryPosted: Mon Sep 06, 2010 3:33 pm ---- you dont need that on your pipe..... you can get your boost reading by t-ing of the wastegate pipe as its a hdi. diesels work diferently to petrols and the best place for fitting a boost gauge is the wastegate pipe. i've got mine fitted just after the boost control valve.

Cause the inlet pipe you have a picture of is only like a pot metal and has a very real chance to snap upon drilling :/
if you want a bleed nipple anyway pal then if you can make it down to where my car is still sitting the bleed nipple is still located in the old boost pipe as i couldn't be bothered taking it out, i also have the tap for the right size

the only place youll get one of those is if you buy another gauge

most dealers are surprisingly helpful if your friendly enough although im surprised mine hasnt killed me due to the 5 years of constant awkward bits iv wanted to order haha
