#1: D's Projcet Show UPDATED PICS ADDED Author: bigdave237, Location: cannock PostPosted: Thu Feb 18, 2010 9:24 am

Hello as you may rember i bought the car for nothing really think it cost me £800 which isnt bad for a 51 plate car with 45,000 on the clock
think the bodykit has something to do with that as it was going rusty where they fitted it using screws Shocked then using filler over the top

so the plan was to tidy the car up and use for work and going out, however after seeing priceys old 206 kit up for sale with the smooth boot i got thinking and after a few chats with phil at kolorshack, where i work we decided that we would use the kit i bought from pricey to add to my 206.................... its an on going WIP and i will add pics off all as and when i do it. i recently sold my project clio so i have some reddies to get the project under way Twisted Evil

first thing is first is to add pics of the rust etc so you can see what to be aware of when buying a car with a kit on it then stripp it ready for the xodus kit Smile

Your car look badass. Ditch the Lexus lights though. Also, get a phase 2 bumper strip, they look more awesome.

I remember this car from the forum before it went down!! £800 for that is a very good deal though, and if you have the same colour scheme as Pricey you'll be laughin!

heres a few pics of the state of the car and unltimatly what i am gonig to do to fix these

rust onder the bonnet etc, will require some fettling with to get back to condition

this is the same both sides where the headlight fits unsure wether we can treat it yet may need new bit on Surprised

as the wings are being changed im not worried about this problem

both doors are suffering from this where they have been cuaght rubbed and caused paint to flake ff and leave bare metal = rusttty

skirts will be removed to make way for the kit however need to repair the sills before hand

inside of the car when i bought it looks ok for now wil have some changes including smooth dash

cheap lights result in condensation
being changed for a set of clear LED's

when the previous owner decided to diy the induction kit Rolling Eyes he decided this was the best option Shocked

and finally this is where i need your help i have noticed this cable was just hanging loose and not sure if its the brake servor or what?? help needed on this one

Interesting...how's the GT bumper going to tie in with the rest of what ever kit you're choosing to get? Smile

well atm im thinking of keeping the exsiting kit, basically due to not wanting to rush into an overhaul with priceys old kit then regretting the work and it resulting in me majourly out of pocket.

decided to go for the gt bumper basically because the other bumper to me seemed really rectangle and i think the gt bumper a steal thanks coopskin for showing me where it was on ebay haha, will flow better.

i have also fitted my new optima yellow top battery, and trialed my bootbuild pics added

the rear will stay for awhile so some smoothing is in order i think, hopefully get it all fitted up by the weekend if i can get my altenator sorted asap as replacing it is a bit of a b*** ache. Then black the roof and possibly do something with the bonnet.
also if i find a phase 2 bootlid thingy that will be on also
my black lights should come tomorrow too happy days haha

Smile
