#2: Re: lowe life Author: Felix., Location: south centralPosted: Thu Sep 23, 2010 2:03 am ---- Mine's about 65mm drop on coilies, never had a problem with it.
Previous 206 was lowered to about 50mm, but had a front splitter which was forever getting caught on humps & kerbs
#3: Re: lowe life Author: VorTechS, Location: Gloucestershire, UKPosted: Thu Sep 23, 2010 2:19 am ---- I'm lowered via the click method (apparently this is around 60mm) on standard shocks but with some additional weight the back sits a lot lower.
My biggest issues are table tops and humps (but I like holding everyone up for some bizarre reason) and more annoyingly dips in the road cause a bit of arch rubbing at speed.
I do a lot of motorway driving, and my route contains a few dips like this.

#5: Re: lowe life Author: C-MAN, Location: RedditchPosted: Thu Sep 23, 2010 2:54 am ---- My 206 was lowered 60mm two weeks ago. Its my first car i have had lowered. Havent had a problem so far, drives a hell of alot better as well
#6: Re: lowe life Author: 206ed, Location: southamptonPosted: Thu Sep 23, 2010 2:58 am ---- my 206 is very low but seems to be ok on speedbumps just harsh sudden drops that mine cant cope with !
#7: Re: low life Author: europug, Location: londonPosted: Thu Sep 23, 2010 3:04 am ---- yea they do handle much better when lowered but i think mine is beyoned that lol as it has no roll at all but feels like it on rails
#8: Re: low life Author: craig_thomas, Location: leighton buzzardPosted: Thu Sep 23, 2010 4:43 am ---- My 180 is pretty low. Bout 80mm front 100mm back. It's fine over speed bumps and handles like a train.

#11: Re: low life Author: europug, Location: londonPosted: Thu Sep 23, 2010 5:23 am ---- def mate i love it, been thinking of gettin air if i can afford it next year tho
#12: Re: low life Author: andyeuro206, Location: motherwellPosted: Thu Sep 23, 2010 5:28 am ---- yes i would love air ride aswell but its all down to cost mate its to expensive i still have to get the right set of wheels for it first
#13: Re: low life Author: Resolutionary, Location: South West LondonPosted: Thu Sep 23, 2010 5:39 am ---- I'm getting lowered on coils next month..all the above problems like scraping and crawling over bumps got me worried about doing it at first but my car sits like a tractor at the moment. Europug I saw your car at Trax and it pretty much summed up the reason for doing it..absolute stance perfection. Not to mention the lack of body roll through corners which should equal big :D's.
#14: Re: low life Author: andyeuro206, Location: motherwellPosted: Thu Sep 23, 2010 5:43 am ---- dont be afraid of the scraping because if it aint scraping it aint low enough
