They'd want to do it so they have a decent portfolio of photograpy, so that one day they CAN be a pro.
I'm tempted to go round to garages with samples of my work asking if I can take pics of the cars on a quiet day, just to get some experience as I don't have any car work.

The thing is, these aren't very good pictures for experience..He has alot to learn! and BSing people like that is ridiculous, he won't get far!

I agree, I thought they looked like compact pics.

I only wish I could have a go, but there's not much of a scene for it round here, and I won't make money!

just like the modeling agencies (sp)... it's all on the news today.

people charge you for them to take photo's, say they'll be in X magazine and then you hear no more from them!
