How far do you go on a 1.1 or is it not a big deal?
Do you spend £'s is it worth it? im not talking about engine tuning.
For E.G would you spend the money on air ride for example on a 1.1 or a 1.6?
Maybe its just me but i always seem reluctant with some things, as in the back of my head i'm thinking its a 1.1 and is gutless. But its just an engine.

But at the end of the day alomst everything can be changed, so if you do spend ££££ on it, the you could change the engine too, then it wouldn't be just a 1.1

Financially no, of course it isnt.
Its the same with my 1.6 though, I do it because I want to not because im gonna get anything back from doing it.
I cant afford another car so im gonna make this one how I want it

Its not about getting anything back financially or value wise, the reward is the satisfaction, peoples comments, friends you make etc. Its a hobby

Sums it up really, its the satisfaction you get out of planning it, saving up for it and admiring it when its done. If you want it, style it up! Ignore the 8v hate train

Its a hobby and it brings enjoyment. sure you are not going to get your money back but its cheaper than buying another car. For what I can afford nothing comes close to my 206. it may only be a 1.1 but its not the slowest 206 going

I agree, doing what makes you happy at the end of it all.
