#3: Re: RC track car Author: Rob2859, Location: HalifaxPosted: Wed Oct 20, 2010 11:36 am ---- i think taking the mirror caps off was a bit excessive proberbly causes more drag
#4: Re: RC track car Author: NorthantsBen, Location: Raunds, NorthamptonshirePosted: Wed Oct 20, 2010 11:45 am ---- lovin the door card
#5: Re: RC track car Author: DJ-, Location: UKPosted: Wed Oct 20, 2010 11:50 am ---- Nice! wonder why they used an 206 rc for security!
#6: Re: RC track car Author: |SGP|, Location: Truro/Falmouth, CornwallPosted: Wed Oct 20, 2010 12:19 pm ---- umm.. why did the car have the wrong alloys and interior? did the company spend money to make it worse?
The engine isn't the same as my 180 either...
#7: Re: RC track car Author: Cr4zYb0y, Location: SalisburyPosted: Wed Oct 20, 2010 1:03 pm ---- If your saving weight, surely you don't wanna pick the 180's..?
#8: Re: RC track car Author: NICKST, Location: Little hulton (worsley)Posted: Wed Oct 20, 2010 1:06 pm ---- Doesn't look like a gti180 engine to me either oil cap is in the wrong place for a start. The button that locks and puts the hazards on is just a single were rc/180 has two buttons. Steering wheel looks wrong.
#9: Re: RC track car Author: Mr_Cellexe, Location: HertfordshirePosted: Wed Oct 20, 2010 3:03 pm ---- tis a 138 (or S16 for the yuro!)
#10: Re: RC track car Author: |SGP|, Location: Truro/Falmouth, CornwallPosted: Wed Oct 20, 2010 3:18 pm ---- lol so he tried to make it sound better than it is?
Oh well, with enough additions, you'll come close to the 180, then surpass it!
Keep it up because it looks really good. It's just a shame you lied/didn't realise about the RC thing.
#11: Re: RC track car Author: rttam, Location: devonPosted: Thu Oct 21, 2010 2:35 am ---- thats what the 180/rc engine looks like without the engine cover on
think all the trim and stuff is mismatched because it was an internal car just used on site there was quite a few at the old factory when i went there on a college trip years ago

I also really like the door cards! DS3000 pads are also the way forward - shame they're not recommended for road use!
#14: Re: RC track car (update) Author: simpsonrc, Location: coventryPosted: Thu Oct 21, 2010 4:15 pm ---- what its like now
