Booked in for 9am, I'm fairly confident it shall pass but we shall see!
If it fails it'll most likely be on something silly or something I've not been able to check like cv joints (haven't had the time this week)

Cheap or expensive, that is the question! Smile

Not on the CV joints, no Sillyhilly - Haven't had the time, work commitments.
Everything else I had checked over though a few weeks back.

The car did fail as I was expecting, but not for the reasons I thought!
Only two faults and no advisories;

Lambda sensor had the emission readings all over the place. (Quoted 60 quid to replace)
Rear fog light, wires had corroded. He said he'd fix it for free

the O2 sensor failed? i though the EML would shown up?

Nah I hadn't had the EML display itself!
The only warning I've had recently is the Airbag light but that only happens occasionally and turning the ignition off and on again clears it so I have no worries about that, for now.
