#1: Swordfish's 206 XS 1.6 16V: Update 15-9 Author: Swordfish, Location: The NetherlandsPosted: Sun Nov 07, 2010 9:06 am ---- So here's my project topic. I have my 206 since 15-06-2010. I already did some modifications on my 206. So i will begin from the point i bought my 206.
First thing i did on my car was installing my Pioneer carradio and some Kicker speakers at the rear seats. After that i put the amplifier and subwoofer from my previous car in.
My second mod was painting the brake calipers.
Some weeks after that i put a Remus backbox under the car.
With another backbox under the car, the inlet couldnt be left behind. So we installed a Simota Airfilter in.
With that the car pulled a bit better, but not as good as i wanted. So yesterdag i changed the system. I put a tube from down the filter right to the wheelarch. So i didnt have the standard tube in the arch anymore.
After the air inlet i bought some nice OZ superturismo GT's and a pair of aftermarket rear lights.
So far my modifications. For the future i have some other plans.
- angel eyes or devil eyes
- 35 mm lowering. Last edited by Swordfish on Sat Sep 15, 2012 1:28 pm; edited 12 times in total

#5: Re: Swordfish's 206 XS 1.6 16V Author: Swordfish, Location: The NetherlandsPosted: Sat Mar 05, 2011 11:40 am ---- @DJ-, Here in holland we have just XS's.
The modding season has opened and i started on my lower grill. I allready painted it but it's just a bit to cld outside to take of the entire front bumper. So i wait for some better weather, before i get the grill in.
Here a couple of pics.

Hey thanks. I spray painted the grill with rimpaint fom Motip. I just printed 206 on a A4 paper with Microsoft Office (with font type wich looked like the one on te WRC car). Then i cut out the 206 and taped it on the grill and masked the rest of the grill. After that it was just spraying the grill.
It was also my first time of painting the grill, but it worked out verry well. The paint is also holding very well.

I cut out the ''0'' as well (as well as the dot in the ''6'') and put a bit of tape at the back of the paper, so it would hold on to the grill. Then you have to try not to spray under the paper.
edit: let me know how it worked out for you
#18: Re: Swordfish's 206 XS 1.6 16V: Picture update Author: Swordfish, Location: The NetherlandsPosted: Fri Sep 02, 2011 6:01 am ---- This week i got my black rear foglight, so here's how it looks:
#19: Re: Swordfish's 206 XS 1.6 16V: little update Author: craigdmjv, Location: WiltshirePosted: Fri Sep 02, 2011 1:32 pm ---- needs color coding and phase 2 boot strip
#20: Re: Swordfish's 206 XS 1.6 16V: little update Author: Swordfish, Location: The NetherlandsPosted: Fri Sep 02, 2011 1:43 pm ---- Hmm... i think putting money into colorcoding is a bit unnessesary, cause the car is black. And a phase 2 bootstrip is on the end of my modding list.
#21: Re: Swordfish's 206 XS 1.6 16V: little update Author: craigdmjv, Location: WiltshirePosted: Fri Sep 02, 2011 5:04 pm ---- will look fine as long as you keep it black
#22: Re: Swordfish's 206 XS 1.6 16V: little update Author: craigy00craig, Location: surreyPosted: Fri Sep 02, 2011 5:21 pm ---- looking good dude, makes me miss my black 206
#23: Re: Swordfish's 206 XS 1.6 16V: little update Author: Swordfish, Location: The NetherlandsPosted: Sat Sep 03, 2011 6:57 am ---- Thanks for the comments @Craigy00craig: Red is far easier to keep clean
Question: where do you guys think i should go for? Angel eyes or devil eyes? I dont know if the devil eyes are worth the extra money?
#24: Re: Swordfish's 206 XS 1.6 16V: little update Author: craigdmjv, Location: WiltshirePosted: Sat Sep 03, 2011 7:56 am ---- devil eyes or custom make them with cheap r8 lights drill and glues behind crystals or masked lights
#25: Re: Swordfish's 206 XS 1.6 16V: little update Author: Swordfish, Location: The NetherlandsPosted: Fri Feb 24, 2012 4:47 pm ---- So after a long time here's another update. Several weeks ago i finnaly fitted the angel eyes that i bought, but because of the weather i couldnt get a clean (litterally) shot of the car. So when the sun was breaking through i couldnt resist to get the dirt of my car.
Im also saving for lowering the car by 35 mm. But due to MOT and such things i have to move that to another time.

#30: Re: Swordfish's 206 XS 1.6 16V: update 18-4-2012 Author: Swordfish, Location: The NetherlandsPosted: Sat Apr 21, 2012 3:42 pm ---- Thanks, they're just normal bulbs, i think H7. I've never chaged them, so i dont know exactly.

#32: Re: Swordfish's 206 XS 1.6 16V: update 18-4-2012 Author: Swordfish, Location: The NetherlandsPosted: Tue May 01, 2012 2:27 pm ---- Thanks Richie. Next mod might be a race exhaust manifold, but Im not exactly sure though. Next to my peugeot 206 i have also a Punto GT turbo. So thats also a thing my money goes to
Im also thinking of a upper strutbar, as thats a mod that doesnt cost a lot of money.
Next week i will clean en give my car a little polish, because I got a polishmachine (dual action) for my birthday. In combination with todays lowering of the car it will look really mint :-).
Here's a quick picture of the the lowering kit on.

#34: Re: Swordfish's 206 XS 1.6 16V: Washed PG. 3 Author: Swordfish, Location: The NetherlandsPosted: Wed Jul 04, 2012 2:23 pm ---- Couple of weeks ago my exhaustpipe snapped at the backbox. It was totally rusted.
So ordered a damperfree midpipe. Eventually i ended up also buying a new downpipebecause it was rusted at the flanch. I will post a picture of the complete exhaustsystem another time. I will also try to make a movie of it in action.
Today i checked my 0 - 60 mph time. Here are the results:
From 1st to 2nd gear wasnt as good as normal so the time can be better. I think for a car of 2003 this isnt a bad result. Next time i will beat the fabrictime of 9.5 seconds to 60.
