As many of you may know, my car has been questioned by what model, trim it is and have had no idea

What started this was the fact that my cars logbook says roland garros written on it, which can explain why i have all the RG features except mine is black with a black half leather interior

Pics of my ride are in the project threads

Ive just been down to my peugeot dealer and they did a little research for me

Chassis number VF32ANFUF42596891
206 T1 5 Door Saloon 1.6 16v 110 Manual gearbox 5
Vehicle family 206 T1
Trim level. Level XT premium
Engine TU5JP4

Can anybody verify what the XT premium model is as peugeot think its a special edition

I just want to know now what it is lol

Thanks for everyones help and i know youll have some useful imput Lee

Is XT not a trim level they use in another european country instead of something here?

i thought XT was the european version of the XSi? which would explain the features as you can get half leathers in the XSi iirc.

They are the same, the XT is just a different model name for the European, Australian and South American markets. Do you know if it was imported?

Also you are apparently only supposed to use premium fuel with it, because it has been slightly tweaked for emissions. Altho I honestly can't see a problem with running normal fuel. You're also has the uprated and modified MA gearbox fitted.

Don't quote me on this, but I think the XT/RG is the only spec that has the 1.6 16v engine with 5 doors.

The RG is available in several other colours: - bianca white, cherry red, black, ardent red, indigo blue, Nordic green, platinum silver, crystal green, sapphire blue and moonstone.

According to Peugeot there have not been any 206 XT's apart from 206SW's.

According to DVLA it is a black 5dr manual 1587cc petrol 206 hatchback (no model/trim indicated). Registered 17th July 2002. 2 former keepers.
HPI hasn't recorded any loss/damage, or change in body or colour.
It hasn't reported it as being imported either.

When I'm on the other PC, I'll run a VIN check with another 206 RG to see what trim level that comes up with. Well if I have one, sure i do Confused

Is there a badge on the car that looks like chinese writing? As there was when it left the factory.

I think it may just be a case as when the data was imported it was marked down in a different classification than the UK one. As it may have been ordered by a dealer abroad, but then they later declined and it was sold in the UK
