Yep The lad who owns it in Evesham just swapped the Mirror Polished Modern-Lines for them. Looks sweet but he is going to be lowering it even more at the back.
#203: Re: Ross' VW Lupo GTI - Rear spacers on. Pics page 13 Author: Ross, Location: West MidlandsPosted: Thu Jun 03, 2010 4:38 pm ---- Yeah I'd seen he'd bought the wheels on ClubLupo but didn't know he'd fitted them, will look epic if he can get the back down a bit more!

No changes, just my latest 'just cleaned' pic
I gave in the other week.... got it valeted, first time I've ever had someone else wash my car for me! Thing is, I'll clean it on a weekend, drive about 3 miles to work in it, come back after the day's work to drive home and it'll be covered in a layer of brown dust/dirt, gets me down! It's either where I'm parking it or the fact it's black and just shows it more, or both.
When it got valeted I was quite impressed with what they did with the wheels, not sure what it was they used but they looked gloss black (they're a satin finish so quite dull looking normally), quite liked the glossy look! Any ideas what they might have used (they used mainly Autoglym products I believe). When I cleaned it myself last weekend I wondered if it was tyre shine actually, as it was still really greasy!

Pics page 13 Author: no_offences, Location: LeedsPosted: Wed Jun 23, 2010 3:09 pm ---- hahaha thats funny how someone can mistake a lil lupo for a golf ahaha classic pure classic, when you stripping it then ross? dropping a v8 into it be like a rocket propelled cardboard box lol
#206: Re: Ross' VW Lupo GTI - Rear spacers on. Pics page 13 Author: Ross, Location: West MidlandsPosted: Wed Jun 23, 2010 3:17 pm ---- Stripping it? Nah, maybe full leather one day, or just some mk5 Golf GTI front seats maybe .
Tuning costs too much!
#207: Re: Ross' VW Lupo GTI - Rear spacers on. Pics page 13 Author: Uz, Location: No Man's LandPosted: Wed Jun 23, 2010 3:17 pm ---- Ross you got a full ressy version of that pic? I need a new wallpaper for my laptop
But they could have user wheel cleaner and then some alloy wheel seal which actually does brightens up the original colour of the wheels.
#208: Re: Ross' VW Lupo GTI - Rear spacers on. Pics page 13 Author: Ross, Location: West MidlandsPosted: Wed Jun 23, 2010 3:21 pm ---- Wow, I feel honoured Uz , I'll PM you with a high-res version if you like
I've got some Poorboys wheel sealant and it wouldn't get that kind of a result on them. When I cleaned them I could see all the chemicals in the water on the floor and it ruined my sponge, proper greasy!
#209: Re: Ross' VW Lupo GTI - Rear spacers on. Pics page 13 Author: Uz, Location: No Man's LandPosted: Wed Jun 23, 2010 3:23 pm ---- You know how much I love your lupo...yeh if you could mate that would be wicked.
