Cars looking great Ross glad to see the progress is steady and smart really don't need to do much to the lupo's imo. I think i know the Mk2 golf that midland vw are reffering too. The guy lives down worcester way and iirc its a rallye so running 4wd and i've seen it in person beat alot of powerful cars and really shut a few bigheaded arrogant a*******s up lol

Thanks pricey!

What colour, wheels etc is this Rallye then? Sounds sweet, Rallye's are cool, let alone with big power Smile

It was a really dark blue color but i think he was planning a color change as for wheels i can't keep up he changes them a fair few trims now, it's stripped out with a lot of custom touches

Feels like so long since I changed anything on the Lupo. My interior door handle gave way recently meaning I had to let myself out via the passenger door, turns out the metal hinge had snapped in two, amazingly. So much for VW quality... was an easy and surprisingly cheap fix though Smile , and I now have a scratch-free interior door handle surround which is nice. Also, after a long hard day at work, I managed to curb half of one of my wheels like an absolute n00b in a moment of slight panic and just pure tiredness, but that very same night I got out the satin black touch up paint and painted it in the dark, and you wouldn't notice now... that's the beauty of having painted wheels I guess.

Hadn't washed it for 2 or 3 weeks either, until yesterday. And once again I was reminded of how much I love it, it was like having a new car again, just wanted to drive it all weekend Laughing . Was sat in some traffic yesterday on a dual carriageway and one of a group of lads pointed over to the car, and then walked out into the middle of the road to get a closer look, made my day!

STILL need to get my headlight sorted though, and the nights are drawing in now so it's becoming more of an issue.

Boring update really! Still have plans for it though, and importantly I think I still love it enough to hold onto it for a while Laughing . Car insurance seems to have gone silly again just lately so it makes sense to keep the Lupo anyway rather than get something that will very nearly cripple me on insurance payments, why bother.

It's been a while but I've got a nice little update tomorrow for anyone that's interested, would have been today but didn't manage to finish fitting them in time...
