yeah too many places that wont think twice about selling you stuff that

a) doesnt work
or
b) harms the car

so is it just a case of dropping it into the oil filler hole? then flushing it and changing it when its done?

yup what i did,

i dont know what the one i used was called but they had a few at my local motor factors.

have you checked were the leak is?? a bottle of k seal is £10 it wont do any mircals, have a look and see were the leak is first then decide what to do Razz

right, didnt jack the car up but as i was doing the oil fill again, i think i found where the oil seems to be coming from. excuse the pics, its as close as i could get

Haha nice. Just need to know whether its worth using on this leak or not. Not too good with engines and just don't have the capital to get it looked at now

Best i can see its either leaking from the head gasket, one of the oil seals behind the timing belt or one of the core plugs

thanks. any angles you might want to see that might clear it up? seems as if its coming from the main block if that makes sense
