Check the alternator isn't under or over charging
Check the wires under the front seats [if you have side airbags]
Check the orange wire in the drivers fuse box is connected
Check the wire on the rear of the drivers airbag
Check the seat belt pretentioners
Check the connections to the airbag ECU under the ashtray carpet
Check the wire to the passengers airbag
Try rebooting the BSI. Click the link in my sig for the guide on how to do it for your specific electrical system.
Check your battery voltage
Check the alternator isn't under or over charging
Check the wires under the front seats [if you have side airbags]
Check the orange wire in the drivers fuse box is connected
Check the wire on the rear of the drivers airbag
Check the seat belt pretentioners
Check the connections to the airbag ECU under the ashtray carpet
Check the wire to the passengers airbag

Anyway from 2012 it will fail the new mot test as well

Author: giveitsomebar, Location: redditchPosted: Mon Dec 20, 2010 6:57 pm ---- mine stays on aswell, its hardly a massive problem if the airbags havent gone off. doesnt matter what car you have if you dont look after them you will have problems. not saying you dont look after the car but even implying you would take the bulb out to hide a fault will mean not just everyone who reads this thread wouldnt buy your car but also implys you dont really look after it to well. fix it and be done with it, if you bodge it and sell it and then someone dies in it because of the airbags not deploying and then it gets found the airbag light has been took off then it will come back on the previous owner
