There's a bit of contention over whether there is any gain from using aero wipers, but I find mine do their job pretty well. They also look a hell of a lot better than normal wipers.

I think mine are both 21" wipers. Not sure.

As said, get the Bosch ones. They clean a lot better, make no noise compared to others and never freeze to the screen like a lot do Smile

there slightly too big needs to be 2 21" for the 206

i know as i made the mistake of ordering 2 22" first time round and they hang over on the drivers side by just a tiny bit and miss wiping a little bit

if yours is an older 206 then yes they were different sizes i think its something like 18" n 24" not too sure though, im sure someone will clear up for you wether im right or not.

as for them hanging over it may just be that you have the wrong size ones on, check them once someone clarifies what size it is for older 206's

so could you get a 21 and a 22 inch blade and stick the 22 on the passengr side and trhe 21 on the drivers ???

why not just get 2 21" as thats the correct size?

i suppose in theory it would work but imo easier to just get what is the correct size Smile

found these wipers for my gf's 2004 plate 206, cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBay...2279wt_905

it says "lease note that a small minority of right-hand drive Peugeot are fitted with left-hand drive fitment wiper blades from factory, please verify that your wiper arms are right-hand drive fitment prior to purchase. "

is left hand drive fitment wipers when the wipers arent the normal way around? when they wiper from the left to the middle, instead of the normal right to the middle? because my gf's 206 has the wipers that go from left to middle so would that mean she has left hand drive wiper blade fitment? cheers

I don't see why people are paying £15+ for wiper blades the non branded aero twins are just as good and cost £6-£7 off ebay....

#21: Re: Best Wiper Blades? Author: MrBSI, Location: What's it to you? ? ? PostPosted: Mon Jan 03, 2011 3:39 pm

It will be right hand drive.

All 206 wipers go the wrong way BUT right hand drive cars have a different linkage set up to clean more of the screen.

If its got the big lump at the end of the drivers wiper arm over the linkage its a right hand drive set up.

I agree! Tesco do them for like £4-6 a blade in all various sizes and do exactly the same job! Other half fitted them to his Corsa after he saw mine and has never been happier! Easily pleased!

aero twin and aero flat refers to the same wiper?
ebay listings are quite varying.

because the cars french which are left hand drive

if you look under the dash in the passenger footwell you'll also see the brake servo to prove how lazy peugeot was Razz

Yeah, I understand that. But most french cars I see, the wipers go the correct way.

can someone confirm this =(
i believe mine are the original wipers, bosch is it?
the wiper frame itself is 21" but the blade refills fitted for me measure out as 22".

for these awesome aero twins. 22 or 21?

I've ordered a set of 21" from the ebay link provided, I'll let you know how they fit!

#36: Re: Best Wiper Blades? Author: MrrNoName, Location: UK PostPosted: Thu May 26, 2011 2:54 am

i just purchased a set of bosch areo twins both 22" and they fit on the windscreen fine, due to the high curvature of the screen in the very corner of the divers side the blade doesnt wipe effectivly, but this is only in the very corner (the extra 1inch basically), the wipers do not hang over the windscreen at all, 22 is the correct size. but the only advantage you get to having 22" is that the passenger size has 1" more of wipeage lol. you get the same wipeage on a 21 and a 22 inch blade on the drivers side because the blade lifts off (due to curvature) at the very edge.

im starting to think it is 22".
just went to auto lites site to have a look and the wiper kit for peugeot 206 is a 22".

so are those on ebay. 22". AR530S is the model i think.

ahhhhhh

#38: Re: Best Wiper Blades? Author: MrrNoName, Location: UK PostPosted: Thu May 26, 2011 3:03 am

to be fair like I said both the 21 and 22 inch blades give you exactly the same wipeage on the drivers side, and the 22 inch blade gives you 1inch more on the passenger side, it basically makes no difference Razz

hell, i'll just buy them off auto lites and get over with it !
