Proper blokes they are, they go through the car perfectly but if you have a decat (cough cough) they will let it through
ok, below is a pic of the wishbone, the rubber joint arrowed is normally twisted badley and cracked etc

Does this look right to you, bearing in mind its on the jack?
IMO it should be further up into the hub (I know the wishbone is tapered so the bolt locates it)??
#37: Re: 206 changing gear + steering = suicide Author: mjsroofing, Location: south walesPosted: Sun Jan 02, 2011 9:40 am ---- it doesnt look that bad but grab it and try to move it you shouldnt have to much play or any at all really, try using a bar to wedge in there to test it for movement. its the other two that makes it worse, put wheel on full lock to the right (when sat in car) from outside or he car look through behing the wheel and you can see the rear bush if it looks twisted its shot it should look straight
(oh by the way in your pic your looking at the bottom ball joint.)

Looks right to me, I thought is was strange on my 180 but that is just how it sits.

Jack it up and yank the wheels back and forth see if they go in or out. If you can not find play elsewhere just do the wishbones again.

ive had passenger side wishbone changed to ebay aftermarket ones before MOT and was told to change driver wishbone after MOT so changed to aftermarkets one.
so if car is steering right, which wishbone needs attention?
also when im doing full lock right the car feels very strange, must be the ball joints yeh?
