#1: Help Needed from some pro's ;) Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Wed Dec 29, 2010 7:36 am ---- hey all, I want to purchase and fit some angel eye headlights to my 2001 pre-plexed 206 (1.4 LX)
What does this mean:
" Two sets of wiring harnesses are provided, so lights can fit models with single or twin reflector OE headlights."
also what does this mean:
"This is a replacement lamp for cars with twin reflector headlights & indicator bulbholders with 4 locating lugs (not 3). "
thankyou in advance. I dont want to end up buying the wrong ones and not being able to fit them correctly because they are expensive

Means you get both the H4 & H7 connectors I think, (Frosted and Crystal OEM light connections)

But from that it sounds like there to replace Crystals and not Frosted - So for Mux'd 206's
#3: Re: Help Needed from some pro's ;) Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Wed Dec 29, 2010 7:56 am ---- its kinda confusing isnt it, because the title lists them as (98 - 02)
#4: Re: Help Needed from some pro's ;) Author: Howey, Location: Kings LynnPosted: Wed Dec 29, 2010 7:59 am ---- Yeah and some of the cars have bot sets of connections on them as well!
What year is your car and do you have clear or frosted lights??

Yeah just a tad contradictory, they say they supply H4 & H7 harnesses but they're only a replacement for H7's? :/ would say your safe if you have crystals like ste said but if you have the frosted ones I'd get in contact before you buy
#6: Re: Help Needed from some pro's ;) Author: Ste, Location: Hull -or- The World Of Info CodePosted: Wed Dec 29, 2010 7:59 am ---- Just go by the date they advise mate and you should be fine
If not it's their problem for advising the wrong date and they'd need to replace them for you

Yeah but that would be their error then and they should pay for the postage.
The only thing to do is for you to take a picture of the front end so we know what you have
#12: Re: Help Needed from some pro's ;) Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Wed Dec 29, 2010 8:13 am ---- ok, hang on lol

#14: Re: Help Needed from some pro's ;) Author: Ste, Location: Hull -or- The World Of Info CodePosted: Wed Dec 29, 2010 8:36 am ---- There frosted Ph.1 lights. So yes, your's are H4
#15: Re: Help Needed from some pro's ;) Author: Ste, Location: Hull -or- The World Of Info CodePosted: Wed Dec 29, 2010 8:38 am ---- After re-reading it a few times **Slowwwwwwwwwly** It's abit clearer, the advertisement is confusing however; the 4lugs bit is refairing to the indicator holder..
On Phase1 headlights the indictor holder has 4 'lugs' to hold it into the light unit, whereas on Phase2 headlights there is only 3 lugs on the bulb holder for the indicator - Hopefully that'll clear things up..
If you want to double check pop outside and remove the indicator bulb holder and have a look how many lugs it has to hold it into place..
