Author: grantjohn1979, Location: sutton surreyPosted: Fri Dec 31, 2010 7:02 am ---- hi guys found out i might need another ecu looked on ebay there's a company on there that sell them and states there unlocked and are ready to plug n play basically if you go on ebay n type peugeot 206 ecu there selling a couple for 180ish or with best offer?wanna actually know if i can just do this out with one in with the new so to speak?is it as straight forward as this?thanks grant

BUT
You will have NO immobiliser & your insurance company wont like that & may remove your theft cover from your policy.
Why dont you get your original one tested / repaired?
or if its beyond repair buy a locked one from ebay/scrappy for your car and bluestreak unlocked mine for £45.

Im very much doubting its an aftermarket ecu.
