What year is the 206?

'51 plate or newer, did you disconnect the battery right?

Does the spare one work ok?

Did any small pointless looking bits of plastic fall out when you changed the battery? If so that'd be the transponder chip that disables the immobiliser.

I assume your key is the second on in the link above?

If so mine is exactly the same and stopped doing pretty much everything after a battery swap. I had to do the reprogram 3 times before it worked. I think you may be rushing the times scales. Try again but make sure you do the times right (plus a bit to be safe)

I don't think anythink fall when I changed the battery. If I didn't saw that but it did fall out,how can I fix it? P.S. Antknee,I"ve tryed that one,but my key is not like the one on the picture.I didn't work anyway

Post a pic of the key and also a pic of the inside of the remote part then we can see which programming method you need and if the transponder has fallen out.

It was the transponder.I forgot that first I've changed the case,it was no marking on the transponder.I opened a key from my old peugeot and it was marked "CP".On my mine it just looked like plastic in the corner.Lucky that I saved the old case.Thank you everyone.
