#76: Re: Seb's VX Thread Author: Seb, Location: Under your bedPosted: Fri Mar 12, 2010 6:45 am ---- Supercharger is all sanded down now ready to be painted properly.
Dropped off my manifold coolant cap to a friend to get it dual passed (basically more effective cooling through the laminovas).
He also took me out in his S/C'd VX, which is currently on a base map (250ish - instead of 310 which his spec is built for), and there was a guy on a Yamaha (no idea what the hell model it was) who was struggling to keep behind us up to about 65.

S/C all sanded down and keyed ready to be sprayed now.
Washers and o-rings are from laminovas.
100A alternator there too as the 120A one is too large to fit on alongside the charger and larger inlet.
#78: Re: Seb's VX Thread Author: Seb, Location: Under your bedPosted: Mon Mar 15, 2010 3:27 pm ---- S/C is painted black now, but not sure whether I like it or not, will have to see in the daylight.
Awaiting my chargecooler from Forge Motorsport now, they've made us up a couple of custom ones (along with my custom header tank), for the CC system.

#83: Re: Seb's VX Thread Author: Seb, Location: Under your bedPosted: Tue Mar 16, 2010 10:41 am ---- After nearly spending £1200 on Nitron Track (NTR) suspension, I quickly decided that was stupid, and went for the Nitron Street (NSS), for about £600. Spring rates I've asked for are 400 front 500 rear. Should provide me with sufficiently less body roll though!
#84: Re: Seb's VX Thread Author: Seb, Location: Under your bedPosted: Tue Mar 16, 2010 7:24 pm ---- Charger is now cleaned and sorted, along with my rocker which a friend did for me. In two minds about the whole colour thing though, but will see how we go, calipers should be red soon so maybe it will work.
#85: Re: Seb's VX Thread Author: Seb, Location: Under your bedPosted: Fri Mar 19, 2010 7:25 pm ---- I've painted the calipers to go with it. Kind of like them.
Lettering looks a little odd from this angle, and it was hard to do, but still looks alright.
