Got the centre console sprayed up...not exactly how I wanted it but for now it'll do. Will be getting it back out and doing a bette job of it.

Got it all scotched down to key up the primer.

First coat of gloss black;

waited about 10 mins or so to let them air dry off and took them inside to set the paint with abit of heat, on this occasion a hair drier lol.

Got them scotched back down lightly for a second coat

Second coat of gloss black;

Did the same again but no scotched up but did harden paint with hairdryer.

Then I gave the whole lot a coat of laquer while laquering I managed to get a drip :@

Got the laquer hard...spot scotched it down and the just gloss black and relaquered it.

Once everything was set I got the centre console into the car.

Also need to get hold of the Engine cover supports as two are damaged...might aswell change all 4 to the newer version.

Not at all mate...was taken on my mobile phone. Will get some better ones.

Bit more of an update.

Trying to source the bits to change the heating controls over from manual to the gti version controls. Also I've decided that I'm going to have a go at making a set of rear SP arches fit the SW so that it doesn't overhang on to the bumper.

Bascially I'm going to take the arches and cut them down to where it end and then join the end that fits into the seam where the bumper and body meet together making it shorter.

Should be interested in what they come out like...will also allow me to bring the wheels out abit further even more.

Also in need of a set of GTi SP front arches as I'm possibly going to sit the front wheels out abit to.

Also going to be spraying up a few more bits in gloss black weather permitted. These include;

- Bonnet Vents
- Bumper Grille
- Badges (Front & Rear)
- Roof Gutter Strips
- Roof Rails
- Mirrors

Also getting a deal on a set of Moonstone Masked Valeo Crystal Headlights =D.

These are what they look like;

I've picked up a set of Moonstone masked Valeo headlights.

Also I've ditched the SP rear arches as I didn't like them on the car. Also I've ordered new modified engine cover dampers from Peugeot at the cost of £20 :O.

Also getting quotes from places to get that money pornoflague vinyl done for the bonnet.

Worked out how to put the headlight height adjuster in and also how to take them out of the damaged lights.

Once getting a pair out I managed to get them in and set right at head on position.

I then put one into the car to see what they are like.

They look really look at the colour match between the two is pretty much perfect :).

Need someone who can adjust my rear beam with the MAMs on the back so I can go out and get my arches rolled and also get the spacers to get them set out.

If anyone who can adjust my beam and can come out please let me know. I'm willing to cover cost of petrol Smile

Peugeot = theiving basqwards :@

£19.20 inc. vat for 4 dampers for the HDi engine cover :@

Anyway had to happen as mine had broken, ordered them on Thursday and picked them up today.

Got them fitted...note that the damper in the top right hand corner had to be moved as I screwed it in the wrong place lol. Is meant to be in the gold sort of area just down from it.

Once that was sorted got all the dampers tightened up and got the engine cover back on...will be having a little tinker around with the engine cover...possibly spraying to match the car or applying a vinyl wrap.

Also got a better pic of the centre console which I sprayed up the other day.

Decided I want a set of winter wheels for the car as I don't want to damage the MAMs and seeing as I've got a set of 16" Nimrods I've started refurbing them in Gloss Black.

Got one of them in Gloss Black. Going to get the centre caps done aswell tomorrow after work.

Probably going to get them wrapped in Toyo T1-R 195/45 tyres (toyos seem to give stretch on the tyre walls) or maybe 205/45 Parada Spec 2 tyres.

going to tyre and get a light blue rimtape to match as close as possible to the colour of the car to break the black up abit between wheel and tyre.

Got the cente caps for the nimrods into their first coat of gloss black...was about to put a secong coat on but it started raining.

In Primer

Waited for about half hour just for the primer to set and then got the first coat of gloss black on

Left them to dry outside while I went to pick up my sister. While I was out it started raining but only lightly. Got home to having abit of beading on the paint. It's hard so going to get a second coat on inabit indoors.

Also 6 quid bought me this genuine 206 keyring from Peugeot in France as they no longer sell these over here. Was bought from a chap on 206info.

Well after alot of thinking and also the Student Loan Company still not having paid my Student Loan I've had to put the MAMs up for sale :'( GUTTED!

But if I do get the loan through the wheels won't be going nowhere

But if they do sell...the Nimrods will be going on as the wheels. Powdercoated in Gloss Black with a cheeky touch as long as I can get hold of what I need to do it.

I'm getting an Ecosse Abbes Boot Fill and also a set of Raceland Coilovers.

While in the bodyshop the car will be having all four of the arches rolled as much as possible to stop the tyres catching on the lips when the cars down.

I'm currently trying to get hold of some 15mm hubcentric spacers for the Nimrods as I'm going to be setting them out onto the arch and getting some tyres stretched onto them...possibly 175/50.

Managed to get the best quality leatherette I could get yet also getting it as think as I could, which would make it easy for applying to the bases.
Pics do it no justice but managed to get 2 metre in length for £7.

Lad at the counter only charged me for 1 metre lol Very Happy

So going to get about getting them done tomorrow...get the shapes need cut tonight ready etc.

Poppin down to B&Q to get hold of some strong spray adhesive for this aswell.

bit of an update;

Door cards #1; Drivers front retrimmed.

Had a slight accident and ripped abit but nothing noticeable. Also using a template is not a good idea as the leatherette is a completely different material to the cloth so always have a bigger piece to work with.

Anway pic;

no join as said Smile I'm happy with the result for a first attempt.

Thanks for the comments guys Smile

My Raceland coilovers arrived today from Belgium Very Happy going to give the beam a go and also get these in over the xmas holidays.

Started building up the debadged grille today. As it stands at the moment.

Didn't get any during pics as I just not in the mood atm. I've attached the centre piece to the grille using no nails. Waiting for that to go off so I can get on and finished up ready for the bodyshop.

I've got it held down with masking tape so the piece doesn't move. Hopefully should be hard tomorrow so I can press on and get it done.

Both of the rear doorcards went in today.

Look wicked. Pic of the passenger side one.

Front will go in once cars sprayed and done.

Got some more pics...glovebox door and passenger side door cards in. Also some pics of how the car stands at the moment.

I don't know what the brown marks are :S but they aren't on the doorcards themselves.
