Get a panel filter as they are more suitable in the smaller engine cars.

If you have spare couple of grand you could get a turbo fitted and yes that would make a massive difference.

And if you are getting a turbo you would probably be better off with a stand alone ECU (IIRC) and you would need to upgrade a few other things as well.

Not sure on turbos. If they like within 400/500 id consider doing. If more be better if getting a gti 180. But atm its not sumin i want to do as i want to go uni in 2 years. But i was jus wondering

On a non-turbo'd car, your looking at around about 10% improvement with a re-map, so tbh its not worth getting it done on your 1.4 16V even if you put a filter and exaust on, and also i wouldnt waste my money turbo'ing it if i were you! Smile
