#1: 180 rims Author: Mazco, Location: March, Cambs PostPosted: Tue Jan 18, 2011 6:36 am

I was talking to a mate of mine the other day and he said that he wanted a set of 180 rims for his 306 GTI-6. He said he wanted the rare limited addition ones. So out of interest I tried to search for a picture of these as I dint have a clue what they look like... Has anyone got a pair or a picture. Do they exist cuz I can't find them.

180 rims are Atlantis/Vortex 17" alloys - available in silver or shadow chrome. Neither are limited 'editions'

there isnt any Razz as far as i know they aren't any differences in the wheels, just given different names depending on if they come as standard or an extra

True shadow chrome are quite rare as most of them have been curbed and refurbed but there are still a fair few sets so in a word, no.

Challengers do - Atlantis ARE Vortex alloys when fitted as standard to the GTi 180

as mentioned, GTi 180 wheels are 7inches wide, where as the 307 wheel is 6.5.
Ive had a headache trying to find a replacement wheel for my 180 this week, as a lot of people think they are the same.

also the offset of the 307 wheel is slightly different due to the different width, If i remember rightly it affects the track of a 180 by 9mm if using a 307 wheel, due to the different offset.
