#261: Re: Jamie's Blue GTi180 - Update & Video last page 31/12/12 Author: JamieM, Posted: Tue Jan 01, 2013 3:14 pm ---- @Matt
Thanks Matt, for all her sins she does sound nice, pops alot for a non decat! Such a shame they don't sell decats off shelf for the systems!
Bet you can't wait to get it on! Lol, it's not my favourite exhaust for them styling wise but it does have the note & pops I'd still like a pea shooter like the GrpN Madac.
@Dan
Yeah they do sound nice lol! Does yours pop like that ^ heard some really quiet Janspeeds compared! Decat ftw. My last one was Scorpion decat back pop'd well and was vocal.
@Jay
The complete stock setup was removed, literally the only thing kept were the oil breather pipes where my 2 oil breather filters now sit. From TB I have the Simota all the way down to behind the fog light.

#263: Re: Jamie's Blue GTi180 - Update & Video last page 31/12/12 Author: MattyP, Location: PlymouthPosted: Tue Jan 01, 2013 3:58 pm ---- Yeah if I can buy it this week mate i'll be wanting to get it fitted the day it arrives lol but will have to order the superpro mounts first
#264: Re: Jamie's Blue GTi180 - Update & Video last page 31/12/12 Author: JamieM, Posted: Tue Jan 01, 2013 7:13 pm ---- @Jay
I don't ever get any warnings. Assuming you mean all the stock airtake & the picture I posted a few pages back?
@Matt
Fit it and then put the mounts on, it will sag but when you put the bushes on at a later date it will be sweet :).

It does pop and bang a lot when its hot but not as much as that. Need a decat for sure lol. I'm a bit jealous actually, i'd like a tiny bit more noise lol.

When i disconnected the air pump (sat behind the fog light) the anti pollution fault came up, which is what i figured would happen lol. So the pump is plugged in but obviously not connected to the original air intake set up. Got a breather on there instead. Everything i removed.
