Still at least they are on now. The ride quality improvement was worth it alone! Hardly any clunks now which I thought were my top mounts but it seems it was those wheels!! :S
The car feels more responsive and definitely quicker. Haven't had a chance to try them out properly what with the s**te weather and the screw in the tyre.
sounds like it was worth cutting those wheels up then to get the td's on. Will be ages before i'll have some td's on mine
#317: Re: Jamie's Blue GTi180 Author: JamieM, Posted: Sun Oct 20, 2013 1:52 pm ---- Yeah I'd say so obviously would rather I didn't have to resort to
that lol.
I definitely appreciate the difference the performance gains are a bonus!

Least its only a vortex you can replace it quite cheaply.
Personally I liked the look with the vortex's on to give it the 180 look.
But still looks good needs lowering now though so get to it!

I know s**t can get bad but f*** me....
Even when we possibly rape the keys at a main stealers, we always get them out using a variety of second hand keys. That or we use the other way of driving around the car park at speed with the single locking wheel bolt in. The second method always works.
#320: Re: Jamie's Blue GTi180 Author: JamieM, Posted: Sun Oct 20, 2013 4:41 pm ---- Jokes guys I know it looks pikey lol.
Lowering is soon Luke

Think someone needs to invest in some mudflaps!
#322: Re: Jamie's Blue GTi180 Author: JamieM, Posted: Mon Oct 21, 2013 1:43 am ---- Lol yeah I would I know they actually work wonders on the 206 but I do genuinely think they look chavy even though I'm rockin morettes and aftermarket exhaust and wheels lol!
#323: Re: Jamie's Blue GTi180 Author: L5_UKS, Location: West MidlandsPosted: Mon Oct 21, 2013 8:31 am ---- I don't think the genuine ones look chavy after market I agree look s**te
Only problem I can see is when you drop it they might catch at times.
#324: Re: Jamie's Blue GTi180 Author: JamieM, Posted: Mon Oct 21, 2013 9:24 am ---- Yeah I can definitely see them being ripped off my car has already dropped on the 16's so depending on how low I go on the coilies might not even be an option lol! The moment I fit those coilovers I can't use my drive because of the incline aswell!
Still undecided on mud flaps though, In general mud flaps to me usually scream boy racer, even though I guess I am in a way lol... in my 206 haha
#325: Re: Jamie's Blue GTi180 Author: JamieM, Posted: Sun Oct 27, 2013 7:22 pm ---- Slightly better pics no SLR tho just iphone 4
#326: Re: Jamie's Blue GTi180 Author: MattyP, Location: PlymouthPosted: Mon Oct 28, 2013 5:14 am ---- Loving the new pics mate
I got a set of oem mudflpas on mine and they do look nice, the only problem I have is the front's catch on a speedhump on the exit to the car park, it's not enough to rip them off but it has started to pull the arch lining out so when on full lock they do rub occasionally, the car is only lowered 50mm I believe but I want it lower later on so I will have to remove the mudflaps, only problem I will have then is the holes left in the inner part of the rear bumper where the rear flaps screw into

#328: Re: Jamie's Blue GTi180 Author: JamieM, Posted: Sat Nov 09, 2013 7:06 pm ---- Fresh ticket as of Thursday night so I treated Sonic to a clean and I cut down the front plate to recess size for until I get one made up that size think it looks better.
Looks like it's on stilts on my highly uneven drive lol.
#329: Re: Jamie's Blue GTi180 Author: JamieM, Posted: Sat Nov 09, 2013 7:14 pm ---- This;
