Thanks mate, if you want to make quick progress on them join saxperience.com and look through my old vts thread.
but quick and easy steps, depending on the condition on your brakes you will probably need to buy a refurb kit, I have chosen not to for this set as they're in very good condition.
It's litterally a case of sanding them down - or if you're lazy you can sand until the lacquer peel is gone, make sure it's smooth.
-Use brake cleaner to clean them up
-Measure the caliper face and order brembo vht decals off ebay
-Choose a colour and make sure it's caliper/vht paint
Remember what you put in you get out, so the more time you spend prepping them and refining them the more refined the overal finish should be.
Today a peice of the puzzle appeared
Full set of T1R's

Thanks Matty, I shouldn't have sold that for the 206 bit of a mistake there but hopefully I'll make this car as good or better than my S. I love Icelandic, I'm not a fan of silver but the blue and pop really comes out on them! Yours had the dimma kit didn't it in gold from memory?
Good lad on the purple you know it makes sense! best colour in the world fact. it's got to be done and it will suit your car!
#416: Re: Jamie's Blue GTi180 - got sonic a treat Author: JamieM, Posted: Thu Mar 27, 2014 4:47 pm ---- Now all you need is some 16" black team d's (purpleeeeee) lol

Yeah icelandic is the best colour, my last 206 was moonstone, similar/same as icelandic, yeah your memory serves you well mate!
Haha na I think i'm going to keep to black wheels, ideally the pro race 3 gloss black and just do the calipers cadbury's purple, had a thought this morning, if i get a typhoon kit to get that in purple too with black sfs hose or in black with purple hose, just hope edge haven't started my speedo cover lol
