But i havent seen my Temp gauge move at all.. i mean is it common it doesnt get hot quick
Im used ot my temp gauge on my old 1.4 moving quick because it used to overheat.
My dads 2.0 Diesel Jag moves up even on the short journey to work.

it takes forever to build up and normally sit around 80 max. unless you sitting in traffic for ages or you are under really heavy loading.

Just take it for a half hour drive or something, it should sit at about 80 under normal conditions! Your oil temp will take ages to get up, mine normally sits just under 90.
