The Gleneagles pack included the tan leather, wood on the dash, wooden steering wheel and I believe the sill plates.

Just get it looking good and keep it standard and it will be a lovely car to own

Gleneagles was a UK-only MX-5 limited edition from 1995/96.

It could of had the extra put on Laughing

It could have had an RX-8 engine too Laughing

Very nice car, would rather have the number plate on a plate positioned like an rx8 rather than on bonnet

The numberplate thing on the bonnet is also illegal. MOT stations are cracking down on it.

Afraid not... it hasn't been legal since 1973... A decent thread from the owners clubs tells all: www.mx5oc.co.uk/forum/...ageIndex=1

Looks a nice car, I was looking at MX-5s for ages until the large amount of miles I was doing caught up with me. Ended up with Mazda3 instead Rolling Eyes

EDIT: got the wrong year Embarassed

Afriad so mate. It might go through an MOT, it just depends on who and what the tester is like.

That'll be brilliant fun when it's done! Heard the Mk1's are superb wee cars

Is it a 1.6 or 1.8? Don't really know much about them to be honest

And are you planning on selling it after it's all tidied up?

Good to see some Mx5 fans on here. If it's a 1.6 do you fancy selling it. Looks a tidy one for the track. We are just building 4 new mx5's for the ma5da championship

1.6 Smile

And yes it will be sold at the end of it, hopefully made to mint condition

Few more jobs needed to be done, and history tracing

Engine bay cleaned though Very Happy
