#1: Autodiagnostic light Author: matthu, Location: CambridgeshirePosted: Sun Jan 30, 2011 10:50 am ---- I had an issue recently with my 206, When driving around 50 - 60mph my autodiagnostic light comes on and the car loses power and no response from throttle, on one occasion alot of my dash warning lights came on but when i went down into 4th gear all the warning lights on the dash went off and the car drove normal. I have also noticed that the car also intermittantly jolts this doesnt happen very often but was wondering what this could be. Ive been told it may be the coil pack but the car is fine at starting up and isnt sluggish the majority of the time. No codes are displayed on the mfd either. Anyone know what this could be?

#4: Re: Autodiagnostic light Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Sun Jan 30, 2011 11:06 am ---- There are over 1000 fault codes on a 206, so your guess is as good as mine.

#6: Re: Autodiagnostic light Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Sun Jan 30, 2011 11:12 am ---- It's stored in the ECU until fixed and cleared.
#7: Re: Autodiagnostic light Author: matthu, Location: CambridgeshirePosted: Mon Jan 31, 2011 7:14 am ---- Just been told by garage that they couldn't find any faults recorded, and they gave it a test drive and the light didn't come on. Has anyone had this happen to them? Ie faults not being recorded.

age
engine
model
ect
my light come on not long ago but i didnt notice any difference and it turned off an hasn't stored any faults.
after its thrown a hissy fit does the light go out straight away? IIRC when the light is flashing it means the problem is current and if its a solid engine light it means the fault has been stored
