Thought it was time for a project page, since the DTurbo has come a long way since I first got it.

The day I got the car from the dealership

Looking very standard

First Mod - Stereo upgrade

6X9's (now covered for stealth)

JBL 165W Door Speakers

Peugeot 205GTi Speedlines and Colour coded bumpers, side strips and mirror caps

Zunsport/SP Full set of mesh grills

GTi180 Replica Exhaust (now with GTi180 bumper surround)

SEAT Leon Cupra R Splitter

Latest and greatest mods - Carbon Fibre Vinyl, smoothed bonnet and a badgless grill that actually fits.

Exactly what I was going to say, the grille looks a bit of a bodge and the vinyl on the bonnet looks a bit cheap.

The grill is the FK one, it's one of the best fitting and at £150 the vinyl wasn't "a bit cheap"

Just cause you paid that doesn't change the look of it.

I know, just pointing out the lack of "cheapness"

Exactly. Go on ebay, there's hundreds of modified cars with "1000s" spent on them that look cheap.

If you really paid £150 to have it vinyl'd you got owned, because from a distance it looks like you've matt blacked it. No shine to it at all. Should've waited for a decent real carbon bonnet to come up secondhand, it would've matched the shine of the rest of the car and would've cost the same.

just out of interest did you have the notch in the bonnet filled first?

Hardly got owned, plus to get a real carbon fibre bonnet would have cost £300+ and not to mention the insurance increase. Not sure how much the welding and spraying cost, my mate runs the garage so he just gave me a bill with everything totaled at £150, welding, spraying, and vinyl included.
