#1: W.I.P - 206 2.0 HDi DaIlY>dRiVeR Author: will16v, Location: Halifax, West Yorks.Posted: Thu Feb 25, 2010 11:54 am ---- Ok, so i bought this car in September 2008 with 68k on the clock to be used as a daily driver.
The condition was pretty rough when i got it, it was rolling on steelies with 3 pug hubcaps, and one flat tyre.
However, i did like the colour, as it seemed pretty rare to see a white 206 very often.
The front passenger front wing had a large dent in it and there was some sort of tree sap/moss issue going on with the roof.
I had no intention of modifying it at all, apart from just cleaing it up.
Anyway, after a new wing, some Sirocco's, a good clean and a SP fuel cap, it looked like this:
Then after a bit more cleaning last summer, it looked a bit shinier:
(sorry about the pic quality - only from my phone).
Since then i think i got bitten by the modding bug again.
I stated thinking of things i could do to the car to enhance the looks, but only slightly as its only a 5 door diesel at the end of the day, which is good for me as a daily runner tho!
However a few things (quite a few things) started to go wrong and i've spent some cash on this car over the last 6 months which put a hold on any mods.
Parts replaced were:
Brake discs
Brake pads
Crank shaft pulley
Aux drive belt
Timing Belt
Pirelli P6000 Powergy tyres all round
K&N Panel air filter
Coolant Flush
Water Pump
Glow Plugs
Air, Oil and Fuel filter change
Fuel Lift pump
More recently i've had a new clutch put in it as the old one started to slip.
Also, i'm in the middle of colour coding the plastics on the car - should be finished soon - need to get this sorted as well:
Also i have a honeycomb front grille to put on when i evenyually get the front bumper off.
Rear Phase 2 lights and boot strip now fitted - just debating weather to de-badge or not.
I'll get some more pics up once the colour codings done and i've clayed, polished and waxed.
Mods to come are Spax VSX 30mm sports kit - just waiting to fit.
Maybe some nimrods in black or graphite, but we'll see after its been lowered.
New interior eventually, some new mirrors and cc the door handles - nothing major, new exaust system and a few other bits. Last edited by will16v on Fri Feb 26, 2010 11:55 am; edited 4 times in total

Its a killer - i figured i would never get the finish of a proper body shop but i don't think it looks that bad ATM...
Phase 2 rear lights and boot trim added also (cheers to euroandy for these):
That towing eye was awful so got some smooth black hammerite on there:
Thats it for now...few other bits to sort now under the bonnet and get it lowered. Last edited by will16v on Wed Mar 03, 2010 1:02 pm; edited 1 time in total

Lowering is next, some pressed plates, CC'ing door handles and need to do someting with the mirrors, but need some new driveshafts before any of that!
