Hi. need a bit of helpasap please. Picture this.

back box - silencer (restrictor pipe) - cat converter - ??????? - pipe leading up to manifold - engine.

What is this ????? pipe called? am i right in saying its a "link pipe" my car is a 2000 on a X reg 1.6 8v. Its just snapped :-S n i need to order another pipe but dont want to order the wrong one. Much help appriciated. IM NEVER LOWERING MY CASR AGAIN!!! people never do it, it aint worth it.

If it's too low it would the zorst would have it something and would have caused it to crack and damage. Easy thing but should really happen unless your running your car stupidly low.

yh its stupidly low really, i didnt think about practicality when i done it. 85mm on the rear n the front 60mm

Ridiculous, really :S maybe if it was like my SW sitting at 120mm all round. You must have been going stupidly quick in order to do that.

nope wasnt going fast at all mate. i dont drive fast i just cruise tbh. it done this as i was on top of a hill (if that makes since) the exhuast grounded out

that really the down pipe? i thought the down pipe was the one off the manifold engine?

the only thing you have between the manifold and cat is the downpipe
