seems like once its warmed up and comeing off the choke it dies, best thing to do is get te ecu checked for any stored fault codes. might give u a clue as to whats wrong

I've got a code reader on its way to me in the post.
I'll get it plugged in.

the idle control valve will be part of the choke system, the rest is all ecu and injectors

a test u can try is remove the idle controll valve, and leave cove the hole with your finger and sii if yu can get it to idle, or disconnec tthe idle control valve

Just unplug the idle control valve! Have you tested the fuel pressure?

Oily inlets are normal because the engine vents into the inlet. No point in cleaning it as it will just oil up again.
