Oh dear. Appear to be have lowered by somebody that a) doesn't know how to lower them properly or b) doesn't know how to make a car handle properly.

It might attract attention but you might as well remove the torsion bars as it won't be using them to provide the springing - it will be the bumpstops. That back axle will be knackered in no time. All the load from bumps that should be getting absorbed by the torsion bars will be getting absorbed the bumpstops and axle bearings instead.

It's rear end down too meaning more air goes underneath creating lift meaning less grip and stability at speed. The rough underside it exposed to the airflow too meaning it will be slower as well.

Looks nice but surely that's ruined the great handing of the 180 by going that low?

Also had any problems with the numberplate?

Clear indicators, de-wiper and Aero wipers would finish it off great!

I think that Peuegot logo in the front does'not deface visual picture. Why it is excluded?

It's lowered 60mm at the back and in my opinion it looks a lot better than my mates White 206 hdi that was brought off a staff member off here that is lowered 40mm. You've got to realise that it's on my drive which is on a hill and is resting on the handbrake which is making it look alot lower than it actually is, I do understand your logic though and it does make sense

Well considering the long list of reasons for it being too low there's a pretty strong case for it actually being too low. It doesn't look good either.

I'm sure cruising round McDonalds car park will do it no harm though.

the black badge looks good, and the bonnet looks good.. can't say I like anything else.

If you're going to make a car that low, buy one that handles like s**t in the first place, dont ruin the character of a good car.

In your oppinion it's too low but then you may think my oppinion of buying a 180 and making it look good rather than buying a 138 and wasting money making it fast "like a 180" and wasting money making it look "like a 180" is wrong but then again there's so many reasons why that doesn't make sense lmao

As said, too low for my liking. Raise it slightly to make sure your axle lasts a bit longer

But you've wasted your money by spending more and effectively slowing down a 180?
I'm not talking about looks, but if I was, then you've made a 180 look like an xsi, which in my opinion is worse than a 180 lookalike

If it was all about speed I wouldve kept my 341bhp corsa turbo apart from which I really can't see lowering my car is going to make that much difference to the performance of a 180bhp 206 lol

Well, Edward already told you how it would.
Have fun and think of us when your back end squirrels and you slide off the road, or you get overtaken by a stock 180 because of your uplift.

Rolling On The Floor Laughing ok mate! thats definately my most sucessful picture isnt it! when you make the front page too, you can critique my photos!
Anyway, It hardly ever snows down here in cornwall, so when it does, it's pretty nice to get a pic of it! I'll replace them for you Wink

Addaz sorry for not kissing everyones ass on thier taste, but I just don't like it. I just think its stupid to make a car worse, everything else looks alright, I love the debadged look, and I really like what he did with the 180 badge. I just don't get the whole 'I've ruined my car by practically removing the suspension' thing.

and everytime you see a lowered 206 like this.. it's usually an xsi.. so thats what springs to mind.

Sorry, I don't mean to be a d**k, I just don't get it.
The more I look at the rest of the car the more I like it, just not the rear end.

I lived in Oldbury - and this 180 looks totally in keeping with an area so close to Birmingham city centre, where there's a 30mph speed limit, few speed bumps, and cameras on every corner.

Adz's white HDi was Lodey's old car, there are a few threads on here about it Smile

Now thats a better reply, i wish people would stop coming across like complete ar*eholes, yes state you opinion but in a nice way Wink

I like debadging to but it is a 180 at the end of the day, make it proud and keep the badge (plus it matches the wheels so its a win for me). Yes lowering a 180 like that is a bit silly as they are the fastest model available, do it to a 1.1/1.4 yes but 180 why?
But as the OP has stated he is looking for style, so fair play it looks nice (needs stance though)

Break the mold as VO5 says Rock Onnnnn..

I love the car as a whole, and the debadged front suits it no end. I'd love to have the balls to get plates like those but I probably wouldn't be posting on here much longer as the SW London police are hot on that sort of thing and I'd end up the boyfriend of a burly, hairy robber in pen somewhere.

And I think what people tend to mean is that there's a trend with lowered 206's of reverse rake, which is not only ultimately damaging to the handling but also looks a little butchered. Like others have said, try and find a way to level it out, either by lowering the front or raising the rear. It'll look 10x better and youll probably notice a difference in handling at speed too.

Apart from that, its friggin' lush.
