#1: Top up coolant level warning - which sensor controls this? Author: Joe406, Location: StaffordshirePosted: Fri Feb 18, 2011 7:57 pm ---- For the past month my car keeps flashing up 'top up engine coolant' at random times, when the engine is cold or hot.
I have obviously checked the coolant and its fine but I have been looking online to see which sensor needs changing but I can only find a coolant temperature sensor...
was wondering if you guys knew which sensor would stop this problem?
Cheers

Yeah they are on the reservoir, choice of 2 different sensors if a replacement is needed.
Most likely been knocked when the pollen filter was replaced
