the pin layout on the diagram you sent is a 3 row 56 pin where this mp 7.2 is 2 row 55 pin.
any idea about this. its a w reg xs model, says variant 6000 on ecu if that makes a differance.

#7: Re: help... ecu pin lay out needed Author: c2v6, Location: saltburnPosted: Sun Feb 20, 2011 4:44 pm ---- ill have to check that tomorrow when im in garage again. 1600 8 valve so im guessing nfz would be right.

And the one i sent was the bosch mp7.2
The variant 6000 does ring a bell thou from one model, I'll try and have a look for you

#10: Re: help... ecu pin lay out needed Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Sun Feb 20, 2011 5:07 pm ---- Just had a look and the NFZ is fitted to the 106, 206 and 306.
It uses the bosch motronic mp7.2 3 row 88 pin ECU connector on the 206 and 306 1.6 [1998-2000]
It uses a bosch motronic mp5.2 3 row 55 pin ecu connector on the 106 and 306 1.6 [<1998]
Can't find that variant thing associated with that engine anywhere
