#4: Re: Noisy Door Hinges?? Author: DJ-, Location: UKPosted: Mon Feb 21, 2011 12:13 pm ---- door strap might be on way out..

I had my passenger one replaced in september and it's gone already.

#10: Re: Noisy Door Hinges?? Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Mon Feb 21, 2011 12:26 pm ---- Just grease them up, they should be ok. That's all I do with mine.
They are about half way down the door, they are pretty thin
#11: Re: Noisy Door Hinges?? Author: Seabook, Posted: Mon Feb 21, 2011 12:26 pm ---- don't think u should use WD-40,
may be lithium grease?
#12: Re: Noisy Door Hinges?? Author: GazRG, Location: Bournemouth/CardiffPosted: Mon Feb 21, 2011 12:26 pm ---- Exactly, use copper grease over the hinges and check straps, do not use WD40, but instead make sure they are regularly covered in copper grease.

Author: ExoVyper, Location: Waiting for the tugboats to push me into port (Whitehaven)Posted: Mon Feb 21, 2011 12:31 pm ---- do a quick check and open the door but let go. If the door opens right out so the hinges wont go any further without any resistance the check straps are knackered.
if it stops half way out then they just need a grease
#14: Re: Noisy Door Hinges?? Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Mon Feb 21, 2011 12:33 pm ---- stops half way out lol, but goes "CLIIIIIICCCCKK" when you push it past the halfway point
