Yes it's me again (I have lots of problems with my 206), I have this message appear occasionally on my dashboard randomly once I start the car, anyone know why this may be coming on?

Because the BSI has gone to sleep & shut down the electrical systems.

It means you have turned the engine off & then used the electrics / not locked the car.

Its perfectly NORMAL Wink

Thanks!

The message apperance speed depends on the battery of your car,if your car battery let us say brand new,it will take a while when the Econom Mode be activated, but if the battery kinda worn out,it will appear faster than the good one.

This system if very good actually, because sometimes the kids play with the radio with car is off,or you forget it on also with car is off(because all pugs radio go off when you turn off the switch,if the radio was on while driving),so by this it keep the battert strong and well charged for the next start :D,and you will never have a dead battery Very Happy

Economy mode has nothing to do with battery voltage.

Its a timer built in to the BSI unit Wink

I thought on the 206, it's based on Voltage. On other Pug's, it's not?

Depends on what the setting is in the BSI configuration set up.

It can be changed with Peugeot Planet OR even turned OFF.
