Looked better with them to be honest. Get the bump strips colour coded & it will sort it out.

I like it, purely because the material looks like cheap plastic crap

#7: Re: Little free mod Author: DJ-, Location: UK PostPosted: Mon Mar 14, 2011 7:30 am

Imo removing them looks better on a 5 door than a 3 door! Seems to break the flow of the windows on a 3door i think

Looks good on a 5 door!), but not a 3 door!! It's there to blend the piller in with the windows and the black around them, makes it look smooth you should replace it with a carbon wrap.

I think it looks better with them off Smile

how did you get them off? was it difficult or did they just easily peel off?

also did they leave horrible residue behind or not?

I left it in the sun for 10 mins and they just peel off and there was no marks

#28: Re: Little free mod Author: Danw_VVT, Location: Herts/London PostPosted: Mon Mar 14, 2011 11:18 am

sometimes there will be glue residue left which will need degreaser to get rid

or you could have the probably like mine where i had a new door fitted they sprayed it then stuck it on before the door had fully cured. so it look like there is minimal lacquer on it. trip to the bodyshop n some fresh spray on it done the job though!

but thats my story

other then that its a good effective easy mod!

Mainly because underneath there was a patch where someone had ground it down to the bare metal and stuck the thing over the top! so back on they went haha
