#1: Stupid Gearknob! Author: Easton92, Location: Horsham, West SussexPosted: Tue Mar 15, 2011 5:35 am ---- Why do i get flawed by the most simplest of things?!
Basically, went to change my orginal gearknob and as i was pulling it the gear lever popped up. it went back in ok and worked fine after testing, but not being mechanically minded, i do not know whether or not this is expected or whether it is safe to continue pulling the gearknob?
frankly, the last thing i want is to sacrifice my gearbox just for the sake of some interior vanity.
Any help is much appreciated.

Took me a few attempts but did it in the end! Just makes me laugh when you go to pop it back on and it just slips on with no resistance! haha
