I dont really have any pre-clean photos however; here's the car after it's first pre-show clean ready for The Fast Show ( still 2 more clean-ups left to do before the show Razz )

While I was at it I decided to go all out, here's the door hinge area before

Thats coming to the fast show, it's Nats (My GF's) Bros' - It got beaten up by the snow for been so low Sad

He was hoping to get the new kit fitted and get it resprayed black before the show but a few problems with the suspension have halted those plans as the suspension needed fixing first Sad

Basically it's a WIP car, the new kit is the smex, atm its abit sorry for itself.

I hope you sprayed some WD40 or grease onto those door hinges once you'd cleaned them up abit. What did you use to clean them?

#24: Re: Ste206 : First Pre-Show Clean. Author: Danw_VVT, Location: Herts/London PostPosted: Thu Mar 17, 2011 9:55 am

just use a APC like tesco daisy with warm water spray leave for 2 mins then use a soft brush.

WD40 is crap id use GT85 personally.

Say what? tbh I dont have any pictures of it, he doesnt like it atm so doesnt like me taking pics lmfao, it's too beaten up.

Nope, no WD40, hate that stuff! They are greased though, have a look at the closeup of the hinge, you can just see the grease in the middle of it Wink just enough to keep it going but not enough for dirt to stick to Razz

I used some QD - I clean them quite often so they dont need much attention, the dirt liturally wipes off for me now, the first time I did it it took agesssssssssssssssssssss!
