You say park, is it auto?
Could be a sticky actuator cable or pedal or floor-mat pushing it down. (wait, wrong forum.)
#3: Re: sticking revs Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Sun Mar 20, 2011 2:37 am ---- i had this exact same problem with a fiesta, code came up with throttle position sensor reading out of range, but I changed it and the car was exactly the same.
with the fiesta, I found that resetting the ECU (by unplugging the battery) made the problem go away for a week. then it came back lol
I also found that If i unplugged that TPS the car ran rough but the problem went away completly.
unfortunatly I never found the source of the problem and the car was written off. Its something to do with the reading of the TPS though, so investigate around that area.
hope you get it sorted because I know how super annoying that can be lol.

#6: Re: sticking revs Author: D4NTP, Location: Not Leeds or its surrounding areas!Posted: Sun Mar 20, 2011 4:51 am ---- although with it being an auto that throws in other problems.
