#9: Re: the wheel specialist? Author: Seabook, Posted: Thu Mar 24, 2011 8:17 am ---- have you got pics of your alloy?
if they aren't badly damage could just find a cheaper job
#10: Re: the wheel specialist? Author: JE_180, Location: WiltshirePosted: Thu Mar 24, 2011 8:23 am ---- I've used the wheelspecialist to refurb my Vortex alloys, was the Swindon branch, they did a really good job tbh, and offered a discount price for a last minute booking. Around here they charge £288 for a full refurb + Paint colour of your choice. And cheaper still if you get one of the last minute deals, I think I managed to get it for £240 last time. Overall decent company though.

#12: Re: the wheel specialist? Author: Andy_VXR, Posted: Thu Mar 24, 2011 8:30 am ---- Only heard good things about them although they are on the expensive side of things. Quoted me £328 for full refurb, strip, balance and new valves. this was on 19s but with a discount code.

wel...
you will need to strip the tyre yourself and then re-fit+balance them...
not everyone got the tools to do it so i would say 190 difference?
and petrol money+time.....
plus if your alloy is in quite in bad shape city powdercoat is not your first choices really..... Last edited by Seabook on Thu Mar 24, 2011 8:34 am; edited 1 time in total
