a week.... well they shot blast them so it removes a lot a surface scratches and they have loads of colours to choose from there the second set of wheels there and the only thing i can fault is that i dont think these are as glossy as my old ones but its still a great job for 80 quid

I'm taking mine to city powder coaters soon. Do they do the whole wheel or just the face?

city powdercoaters is in birmingham. thats really not far from swadlincote. and for a £230 difference i think its worthwhile..

wel...

you will need to strip the tyre yourself and then re-fit+balance them...

not everyone got the tools to do it so i would say 190 difference?

and petrol money+time.....

plus if you bad is quite in bad shape city powdercoat is not your first choices really.....

they do the tyres themselves for an extra £5 a corner Smile

plus. whats wrong with a £190 difference? Shocked

did you read my reply? Question

shot blasting+powder coated=/= full refurb.

and i can get just shot blasting+powder coated cheaper than city powdercoater and just as good as them.

badly kerb alloy/ scrup will not give good finished with just
shot blasting+powder coated.

a proper full refurb is not just strip away the paint and repaint them.

they will fill any deep scratch, sand them down and then respray.

that's why i ask the opener how is the condition of his alloy. if they are really bad then their is no point to cut the corner.

a cheap job is just can't compare to a proper job.

yes i read your reply..

im not saying its the same as a full refurb..

was just trying to save the OP a few quid as he was asking about his quote.

many people on here will tell you that city powdercoaters do a fantastic job for the price.

i dont care if you can get powdercoating cheaper..

to be quite honest this is a ridiculous argument.

OP: in answer to your question, that is pretty overpriced, if your wheels arent too bad i recommend city powdercoaters in birmingham.
