#19: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Fri Mar 25, 2011 5:26 pm ---- number one, but make sure you get the standard 206 ones and not the 206cc like in the link above, the 206cc ones have a bit missing which leaves a gap

I'll look out for ya bud..where abouts does your other half live?
What do you mean a bit missing? I thought it was just a standard 206 or a cc fitment? I like number 1 and 2 but wasn't sure about 3?
#21: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Sat Mar 26, 2011 4:29 am ---- standard 206 lights have a vertical plastic strip that covers the gap between the light and the inside of the boot, the cc version of the light doesnt have that strip
standard 206
206 cc lights
hope that makes it clearer lol
the 206 cc ones do fit, doesnt look as good when the boots open though
#22: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread Author: danlouiee, Location: Plymouth, DevonPosted: Sat Mar 26, 2011 4:36 am ---- Ahh I get you..I know there was a reason why I joined this site;)!! Hopefully should be getting the motor back today!:)
#23: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Sat Mar 26, 2011 4:37 am ---- let me know how it runs, will be interesting to see if you feel any power increase after a total engine rebuild! it should feel like a new car
#24: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread Author: danlouiee, Location: Plymouth, DevonPosted: Sat Mar 26, 2011 4:41 am ---- It should do yeah..specially as MOT it had a new catalytic converter and linkages on the ball joints replaced..then now it's had a full engine rebuild with a new clutch and new drive shafts..I'm dreading the bill!
#25: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Sat Mar 26, 2011 4:48 am ---- the bill will definitly be more then the cars worth lol, but at least you know you,ve got a good motor out of it all
#26: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread Author: danlouiee, Location: Plymouth, DevonPosted: Sat Mar 26, 2011 5:30 am ---- but then again i guess it'll be better than buying a car which may have problems with it when i know this one is tip top..plus the bodywork is imaculate!
#27: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Sat Mar 26, 2011 5:34 am ---- fair enough, im always in favor of paying to keep cars on the road, i hate the throw away society, where people chuck it away and get another one because its cheaper
#28: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread Author: danlouiee, Location: Plymouth, DevonPosted: Sat Mar 26, 2011 5:36 am ---- i second that mrrnoname! i love my car i wanna keep it but just change the engine;) i think its because its my first car and its mine!
#29: Re: 206 1.1 Progress thread Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Sat Mar 26, 2011 5:46 am ---- i felt like that about my first car, a mk4 fiesta. then some stupid person pulled out in front of me and it was written off
when you get it back drive carefully lol, it would be a shame to write it off a month after all this expense!
