#1: 206 gti manifold rattle? Author: furryhobnob, Location: NuneatonPosted: Sat Apr 02, 2011 3:21 am ---- Hi guys I've just noticed a rattle on acceleration that comes in at about 2000 revs,it really does my head in,is there any way to stop this without getting a new manifold? Or if it's not that does anyone have a suggestion as to what it might be,thanks in advance guys

yea, simple weld of the branch pipes. there is a guide out there that shows you how to remove the mani without dropping the subframe or removing the engine.
you might be better off buying a raceland 4-1 manifold and replacing the old one if youre gonna get a mech/garage to do it.
