Picked up my new toy today.

It's a 1996 Mk1 MX5 1.6

Really pleased with it, but as you can see it needs some work doing.

Picked it up from quite literally the centre of London. Wasn't very fun with a LWB Defender & trailer.

Plans are:
Full respray, dent removal and rust treated. Not sure on what colour, for now as it is in BRG.
New soft top. - Bought a black one for £50 Cool
Cheap radio (anyone selling one?)
New interior or re-trim the drivers seat.
New ariel

Only modifications to it are a MilTek cat back exhaust, sounds really nice, and lowered suspension (unsure on the brand)

Not bad for £440 eh? Smile

Awsome little cars, loads of fun. Look to be a good little project too.
Go white on colour front, seen an awesome looking one with bomex kit last year and was sexy as fook.
Keep us posted though please Smile

Not really a fan of these cars but a good project at a reasonable price. Is there no-where else to put the front registration plate as where it is (i know its standard for this mk) is horrendous it would look better down the front somewhere.

There are a couple of holes in the bumper lower than where the plate currently is.
Maybe a square one offset in the lower corner would look better.
