Hi guys, I'm sure I asked this a long time ago (before I was driving) but what would be the procedure for getting a replacement fuel filler cap cut to my key? At the moment I have a random aftermarket one and its annoying!

I'm sure it was Lee who replied a long time ago, said it was something like £18...

Thanks guys!

EDIT: Just to confirm, its the whole thing including the locking mechanism, probably wouldnt need the cap because I'd end up buying an sp one anyway

You might find some locksmiths would be able to build you a lock to your key number. Ford used to sell blank locks, which you put key into then filed down the outside of the barrel. I don't know if Peugeot have a similar way.
You may be able to order a complete cap, with lock matched to your key number from the dealer, but no idea of the price.

£22.31 is that just a lock? Nothing else? Or is it the whole thing?

Where do I find my vin and is it something I should share on a public forum or via pm?

PM Lee your Vin.

Your VIN is visable on the windscreen, passenger side at the bottom

That part number is a complete petrol cap including the lock cut to the cars key, you cant get the barrel on its own Wink

The OP would then need to clip a coloured / SP trim on to the new petrol cap.

Locking cap - combination specified upon ordering. Then the picture shows dashed lines joining it up to the cap over, and the 3 tabs fasten to the cover. Doesn't say it includes the cap cover
