#1: Roof - Don't switch off. Author: Bagsy, Location: Jersey, Channel IslandsPosted: Sun Apr 10, 2011 12:36 pm ---- We recently bought a 2003 206cc. Unfortunately just at the start of closing the roof the ignition was switched off.
The roof will now not close (I will have to do it manually).
Will this reset the electonic action, or do I need to do something else?
Thanks
Bagsy

Instructions are in the handbook as you need to release the emergency valve on the hydraulic system in the boot to allow manual operation.

After an emergency close, the roof now works, although a bit clunky. However, I am hopefully that it just needs the hydraulic pressure increase.
I noted that the manual does not say to tighten the hydraulic pressure release nut. Does the system need recharging from a garage or will it recharge after a short run?
